>>>We found this story online, and thought it is something to read into. A perfect example of when lenders cut corners and don’t follow through with the work at hand!<<<
Lenders name the: “foreclosure from hell.” A Florida resident has been fighting her foreclosure for 25 years! Patsy Campbell claims she plans dying in this house and will continue fighting until that day. When a foreclosure starts banks will refuse any payment unless it is in whole. In Florida foreclosures must be approved by a judge, this working in Campbell’s favor. Campbell claims that her mortgage was improperly transferred between banks and federal agencies, that lawyers for banks waited to long to prosecute the case. Someone defending a foreclosure action can raise defenses that are baseless, but a obstacle for the foreclosing lender. Some say: “a unfair burden” for lenders. Summer’s the lawyer for the lender says: “it’s almost like clock work you know there is going to be another three inch stack of documents and you have to take the time to read through it ALL” Summer says: “that is a burden on the courts, a burden on lawyers to decipher it, and it has enough meat in it that’s not all void.” So this case really just needed someone to take the time to read everything and not cut corners, Summer’s intends to be that lawyer he fully intends on finishing this case as soon as he gathers all the information surrounding it he will be taking it to court. According to commercial services of latest filings Campbell owes the 63,801 in principle plus 148,000 in interest. “All she’s got to do is pay what she owes: the principle, the interest, plus courts costs and attorney fees” Summer says “ but she will not get a free ride.”
